Dr.Gour Mohan Roy College, was established under the visionary leadership of Mr. Kala Chand Roy for providing quality education to rural poor and backward section of the society. The Vision and Mission of our college was set from the very 1st day of its journey as a rural college. Proper effort is needed from all stakeholders to fulfil the ultimate aim of the institution and to reach its vision of acquiring the prestige of a premier learning institutewhen each and every stakeholder shall have the feeling of pride for this institute. With the passage of time mission and vision of the college has been extended with the dynamic nature of society.
